This past November, the ASW launched its first ever plant grow-out contest. Plants were offered for sale and members were sent home to grow their selections into the meanest, greenest, most hulk-like sprawling vegetation ever. Okay, the truth is that we’re actually looking for just a gram or two of growth, because these are anubias, after all. Either way, it’s just about time for the reckoning!
Next meeting, bring in your little green friends and get them weighed. Those that produce plants with the most growth (sand, gravel and driftwood not included) will receive cash and prizes. Naturally, bragging rights are also included.
