Buy Local and Support Fellow Hobbyists!
Buying from the ASW auctions is a great way to support local aquarium enthusiasts. Members will often sell their extra plants, unneeded equipment or tanks, and of course, fish! Often you’ll get the chance to purchase specialized items or items that aren’t easily found in big box pet stores. Don’t forget to grab a bidding paddle before the auction begins, even if you’re not thinking about buying anything right now. You’ll need it if something catches your eye and you decide to bid!*
Non-members are allowed to purchase auction items and will receive a blank paddle. Purchasers using a blank paddle are required to pay, in cash, immediately after they have made their purchase.
Members will receive a paddle with their member number on it and have the option of paying cash as they go or settling up their account at the end of the auction. Members MUST pay for all purchases before leaving the venue.
*No bids will be accepted without a bidding paddle. All items are sold “AS IS”. The ASW does not guarantee the condition or authenticity of any item being sold. All items start with a minimum $1 CAD bid, and bidding will proceed whole-dollar incremental amounts.
Have items to sell?
